Emerald Hill Farm offers camps for children ages 7 to 12 of all riding levels. Looking for an educational camp where your child can learn more than just riding? At our camps children will learn the basics of horsemanship, equine science and horse care in addition to riding lessons. Our Camp Director has over 25 years of Equestrian experience and our Camp Leader was the Girl Scouts Barn Director at Steven’s Ranch for 3 years in a row.

Camp Activities:
Camp is from 9am to 4pm. Boys and Girls ages 7 through 12 of all riding abilities are welcome! Campers will learn about horses, riding, horsemanship and horse care. Campers will participate in team building activities, and will have the opportunity to explore their creative side with an art class. Swimming in our pool is available in the summer!

Class and instruction will take place in the barn, our covered arena (perfect for riding in rainy weather) and in the house. Emerald Hill Farm will provide small snacks. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch.

Camp Rates:
Full week Monday through Friday- $300
One day of camp- $60.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required with enrollment. Remaining payment is expected by the first day of camp. Cash or check accepted.  

What to Bring:
Campers will want to have appropriate clothing for riding as well as the weather. Campers will need long pants, riding boots, (rubber sole boot w/ heal) and ASTM/SEI approved helmet. Helmets can be borrowed from Emerald Hill Farm.  Campers will need to bring a sack lunch, sunscreen, water bottles and bathing suites in the Summer months.

We also accept PayPal to the email address Enrollment and deposits are due the Monday preceding the Camp week.
